Carlo Sirolla the Sculpturist was born in 1948 in Foggia, South East Italy. His first steps into the world of painting were taken with his father, an "Affresco" painter. He later attended Art School studying graphic design in Turin.

Carlo truly is the "Son of art", a true descendent of painters carrying on the traditions and exemplifying excellence through natural talent. From brilliant and restless origins he continually creates and progresses techniques and art shapes unique to his personal experience. However this complex and unforseeable personality discovered sculpture. From Advertising Designer to Cartoons Designer and Painter, one day he finds his hands touching some wood and he carves his first figure. From wood to small bronze fusions to clay models, Carlo experiences his natural gift bringing life and meaning from diverse materials using the experience of local "masters" and incorporating lessons learnt with his natural gift. The Sculpture is elaborated with natural talent and genius reflecting the solid features of past Italian art tradition.

Of late, Carlo's work is his artistic production - a gifted and talented collaboration and partnership of technique and invention. Carlo is omnipresent at local and national artist workshops and his fine sculpture techniques have been acclaimed by artists, critics and journalists, however, his true testimonial is to be found through the bronze foundries that have him commissioned for his large size copies of great masters sculptures like Salvator Dali, Strabelle and D'Amelio. Truly a tribute then that his sculptures are exhibited in the Castle of Wolsberg (Austria), and in Verona, for public and critic alike to view. Imaginative and ironic maybe are his works in the "Bengodi" and some of Verona's typical taverns.
