Freelance illustration and fine art. Website offers portfolio of illustration work and gallery of fine art work to buy or commission. I have been a working illustrator and artist since 1992.
My illustration work has included greetings cards, book covers, advertising and packaging. My clients include Hallmark Cards, NatWest Bank, Random House and BBC Worldwide. I also have a range of stock illustration. My fine art work, which I display in selected galleries, consists largely of landscape paintings. I also offer a portraits from photographs service. My impressionist influenced painting technique has developed after studying the work of the Impressionists and Post-Impressionists. I build up colour in multiple layers to create optical mixes, and favour scenes with striking contrasts of light and shadow. I work in acrylics on canvas board or stretched canvas. I also enjoy producing pencil sketches. |
